Work / Rolling Stones – Foreign Tongues

The Brief
What We Did

We delivered a high profile, multi platform PR campaign for The Rolling Stones’ number one album Foreign Tongues, securing extensive national and regional coverage across print, online, television and radio. From the initial album announcement in May 2026 through to release day and the band’s subsequent chart success, we built sustained momentum around the record, ensuring it remained firmly in the media spotlight and celebrating the band’s enduring cultural influence.

We secured widespread coverage across leading national newspapers and music publications, including The Guardian, The Times, The Telegraph, NME, MOJO, Uncut, GQ, and The Sunday Times. Through targeted media outreach, interviews and editorial features, we brought the story behind the album to life, highlighting its collaborators, music and artwork. We also helped extend the conversation beyond traditional press coverage, including activity around the Speaking In Tongues podcast.

Broadcast was a major focus of our campaign, and we secured coverage across some of the UK’s most prominent television and radio programmes. This included BBC News, ITV News, Good Morning Britain, and Lorraine. We secured an interview with Mick Jagger for The One Show, alongside further coverage that brought the album announcement, launch and release to mainstream audiences. We also secured strong radio exposure, with Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood featuring on BBC Radio 2’s Tracks of My Years and the Rock Show, hosted by Sean Keaveney. Planet Rockbroadcast a dedicated Foreign Tongues Special, featuring Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards.

A key moment in the campaign was the Foreign Tongues launch party at London’s St. Clement on 8 July. We conceived and helped organise the event, bringing together media and celebrity guests to create a high profile celebration of the album and maximise coverage across news and entertainment outlets. We also invited photographers and video crews to cover the red carpet, capturing arrivals and creating immediate photo and video opportunities for press and broadcast coverage. Our idea for a spectacular drone light show over the Thames, set to single “In The Stars”, provided a striking visual centrepiece, creating an unforgettable moment for guests and further compelling content.

The day before the launch party, we also helped organise an exclusive fan event at Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, where Foreign Tongues was recorded. We wanted to create a special opportunity for fans to connect with the band and celebrate the album in the very place it was made. Hosted by Matt Everitt, the event featured a screening of studio footage, an interview with Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood, and an exclusive playback.

Following the album’s release on 10 July, we maintained momentum through continued national and regional press coverage, including reviews and features. By combining targeted press office activity, high profile artist interviews, broadcast outreach and a standout launch event, we secured sustained coverage at every stage of the campaign. Our integrated approach ensured Foreign Tongues reached audiences across multiple platforms and reinforced The Rolling Stones’ extraordinary legacy.
